How to Delete Your Data
At VaultPassword, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the extension or by submitting a request through this page.
Option 1: Delete from the Extension
You can delete your account and all stored data directly from the VaultPassword extension:
- Open the VaultPassword extension in your browser.
- Go to Settings or Profile.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion.
This action will permanently delete your account along with all your stored passwords, usernames, emails, website URLs, and any other data associated with your account.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you are unable to access the extension or prefer to request deletion manually, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your VaultPassword account.
We will process your request and delete all your data within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What Data is Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your user profile (name, username, email).
- All stored passwords and associated information (usernames, emails, URLs, custom fields, additional notes).
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) settings and secrets.
- All access tokens and sessions.
This action is irreversible. Once your data has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.
